he order of the coloured coffee stamps corresponds to the order of the puzzles. Each puzzle has one of the coffee stamps on it. The correct order is: the menu, laundry ticket, drinks mat, invitation, magazine article about Avellune’s next chapter, business card, and postcard. When you input your code, make sure you enter the numbers in the order shown on the coffee card.

It looks like someone’s been doing a bit of cocktail maths on their napkin…

Those cocktail drawings look familiar. Where else have you seen them?

Cocktails can be pricey! Perhaps their prices are exactly what this equation is missing.

To solve this puzzle, use the cocktail menu and the napkin together. The napkin has an equation made up of cocktail images. Match each image to the same cocktail shown on the menu, then replace the image with that cocktail’s price. Once all the prices have been added to the equation, it becomes (24-14) x 2 = 21. Work through the calculation. The answer id 41.

Laundry isn’t the only thing that needs folding here.

Four corners and four folds should do it

Try and get all 4 corners to meet in the middle! Keep an eye on the boarder - things should start lining up.

On the back of the laundry ticket, it says “FOLD, 4”. This hints that you need to fold the piece of paper four times. Fold each of the four corners into the centre of the ticket. Once all four corners are folded correctly, the sections of the border line up to reveal NINETY SEVEN. The answer is 97.

The two sides are similar but not the same.

Start at the olive coming out of the martini glass and see where the path takes you.

Start at the olive and follow the path until you reach the shell on the right-hand side. Then flip the drinks map over and find the same shell on the other side. Start there and follow the path again. It will lead you to 65. The answer is 65.

The invitation promises “An evening from the top to the bottom.” Maybe that’s more than just a description of the night …

Take a look down the evenings schedule.

The first letter in each line is all you need.

The phrase “An evening from the top to the bottom” hints at how to read the schedule. Starting at the top and working down to the bottom, take the first letter of each line. These letters spell TEN PLUS NINE. Calculate 10 + 9 = 19. The answer is 19.

Try lining up the coffee ring stains.

What appears through the redacted sections?

Line up the environmental report over the magazine article using the coffee ring stains to align. The cut-out redacted sections reveal words form the article underneath, which read: The answer is forty add nine. The answer is 49.

There’s something a little scrambled about the writing on this business card…

Can you rearrange “wto shnoadut dan rofu” into something that makes a little more sense?

The scrambled words reveal “two thousand and four”. Don’t forget about the number on the business card - try calling it!

The words “WTO SHNOADUT DNA ROFU” on the business card are scrambled. Rearrange the letters to reveal “TWO THOUSAND AND FOUR”, giving you 2004. Call the phone number on the business card and, when prompted, enter 2004. The recorded message will then reveal the number 8. The answer is 8.

The itinerary tells you the journey. The postcard might help you map it out.

Connect Palma → Split → Nice → Sardinia. What shape has the journey made?

Use the flight itinerary and the postcard together. The itinerary shows the journey from Palma to Split, Split to Nice, then Nice to Sardinia. Find each destination on the postcard and draw a straight line between them in this order. Once the complete flight route has been drawn, the lines form the shape of the number 4. The answer is 4.
