Clues
Auction Paddle
Clue 1
Look at the list of “What’s on offer” at the auction. Each item seems to link to something else in the game.
Clue 2
Clue 2 Have you spotted any matching items? For example, “Every purchase includes a certified condition report” could relate to the Conditions Report puzzle.
Reveal The Answer
Match each item from the list to the puzzle it relates to in order to work out the correct order of play.
Conditions Report
Clue 1
Have you noticed that some words stand out more than the others?
Clue 2
Among these highlighted words, are there any that seem different or unique?
Clue 3
Take the unique word from each description and see what message they spell out.
Reveal The Answer
In the description of each item, there are several capitalised words. Most of these capitalised words share a connection, apart from one unique word in each description. Take the one unique word from every description and put them together. This spells out: “Use first letter second sentences.” Follow this instruction by taking the first letter of each second sentence, which spells out FORTY. The answer is 40.
Fine Jewellery Auction
Clue 1
The label for the Sapphire Silver Bracelet is marked only as XXX.
Clue 2
All the other jewellery items have three-digit codes. Use these to help identify the missing number for the bracelet.
Clue 3
The first number represents the metal, the second number represents the type of jewellery, and the third number represents the gemstone.
Reveal The Answer
Use the other jewellery codes to work out the missing number for the Sapphire Silver Bracelet. The first digit represents the type of metal, the second digit represents the type of jewellery, and the third digit represents the gemstone. Using this logic, the bracelet’s code becomes 075. The answer is 75.
Auction Poster
Clue 1
Have you noticed there are 7 rows of seats on the poster and also 7 days of the charity auction week?
Clue 2
The list of days numbered 1–7 on the back of the poster refers to the row numbers, and the colour of each line refers to the seat colour in those rows.
Clue 3
Three boxes in the list have been crossed out. These are the three seats you need to identify.
Reveal The Answer
The first crossed box refers to row 1 and a green seat. Look for someone in that row sitting on a green seat and holding an auction paddle - the number is 38. The second crossed box refers to row 4 and a blue seat, which gives the number 47. The third crossed box refers to row 7 and a pink seat, which gives the number 9. When you add these together you get 94. The answer is 94.
Bauble
Clue 1
This is an invitation to the Amazing Antiques Auction. Can you find another piece from the same event?
Reveal The Answer
To solve this puzzle, you will also need the Sold Lots Register from the Amazing Antiques Auction.
Sold Lots Register
Clue 1
You will need another item to solve this puzzle - the bauble invitation.
Clue 2
Are there any patterns or shapes on the bauble that match the stamps on the Sold Lots Register?
Clue 3
There are two stamps on the register, and parts of both of them appear on the bauble.
Clue 4
Align each stamp with the matching section on the bauble. What numbers does the bauble point to?
Reveal The Answer
Part of the blue SOLD stamp appears on the bauble. Align these sections correctly and the bauble points to the number 2. Next, part of the pink Arum House Auctions stamp also appears on the bauble. Align these sections and the bauble points to the number 7. At the top of the register it says “Items SOLD at AHRUM HOUSE”, which shows the correct order of the numbers. The answer is 27.
Shipping Logs
Clue 1
Drawing the routes onto the map may help you solve this puzzle.
Clue 2
There are two separate routes, both starting and ending in London. Try plotting each route clearly. Adding direction arrows might help!
Clue 3
Once the routes are complete, identify the missing journey between the two locations.
Reveal The Answer
When the routes are completed, Route 1 is: London – Manchester – Dublin – Belfast – Newcastle – Leeds – Norwich – London. Route 2 is: London – Portsmouth – Cardiff – Dublin – [Missing Route] – Manchester – Leeds – London. The missing journey is between Dublin and Manchester. Use the table of numbers to identify each city’s number: Dublin is 6 and Manchester is 2. The answer is 62.
Authentication Masterclasses
Clue 1
Only one of the six paintings is the original. Compare the details carefully - a forgery may contain something unique that does not appear in the others.
Clue 2
For example, in painting 6 one of the ribbons is a different colour from all the others, showing that it is a forgery. Use this same approach to identify the real painting.
Reveal The Answer
Painting 1 is missing a flower, painting 2 has a shortened orange ribbon, painting 3 includes a blue flower, painting 5 has a darker shade of colour, and painting 6 has a differently coloured ribbon. This means the only genuine painting is image 4. The image was lost in 1998 and rediscovered in 2018, meaning it had been missing for 20 years. The answer is 20.

“Every POINT in time matters.” Look closely at the labels for each auction item.

The rarest items are labelled “Exclusive Find”, “Only 2 recovered”, and “Only 3 still intact.” Adding together their estimated values gives a total of 70. The answer is 70.

Clue 2
The company wants efficient communication. What would be the quickest route through the organisational structure?
Clue 3

When drawn, this route forms the number 2. The second route is: Associate Catalogue Specialist → Junior Marketing Manager → Director of Marketing → Executive Assistant 2 → CEO → Head of Marketing. When drawn, this route forms the number 3. The answer is 23.
Security Vault
Clue 1
Try giving the number a call!
Clue 2
The advert says “Visitors please sign in at reception.” This tells you which part of the call matters.
Clue 3
The phone call gives left and right directions. Use the spinning vault and follow the directions carefully.
Reveal The Answer
Start with the safe set so that you can see the red 1 and the red START text. The phone call then gives a series of directions. “Take the first right” means turn the safe once to the right. “Continue forward and take the second left” means turn the safe twice to the left. “At the end of the corridor, take the fourth right” means turn the safe four times to the right. Finally, “Take the first left to get to reception” means turn the safe once to the left. Following all of these instructions leaves you on the number 3. The answer is 3.
